Thank you, thank you...... I've decided to use both. I'll put the hearts on the edges along the border with the points of the hearts pointing toward the border. I'll put the circles in the body of the quilt. That way, there won't be any direction and will look like the hearts border the quilt.

That sounds like the perfect solution. I think it will be beautiful when it's finished (Looks beautiful right now). Your DGD is going to love it.
