I have had 3! Two Osters and a Breadman.
I perferred the Oster.
I loved mine...haven't made any bread in a while. I made mine from scratch and also brought the box mix. Both ways are great.
When you use it make sure you put ingredients into tub in order. yeast is always last.
I don't think the brand really matters. My first one was a 1lb loaf and the last two were 2lb loafs.
You can also make dough for pretzels, pizza and other intersting things. You will get a recipe booklet with it and they have great recipes.
