cherylmae,thanks for reminding me of another way to do tackle this project. I took a class many years ago that used Do-Sew sewn to the back of the block. Then steamed. It shrinks just enough to pull in the edges to create a wonderful turned under edge. Then the pieces can be appliqued in any fashion desired.
