Yesterday, for the 3rd time in my life I found a very young toddler hot footing it down a busy highway about 3 miles out of town right on the center line and on a corner. I was never able to have children and now I really wonder why I have found three like this? Children's Protection Services and a sheriff deputy took this little girl. Last night I called the sheriff's office to see if they had located her parents and they told me not one person had called any police agency in the county to report a missing child! How awful is that? We figured she was 12-18 months old and wasn't talking yet. What is wrong with this....was she just dumped? No one in the area had ever seen her before but she was clean and warmly dressed. Makes me sick to just think about that poor little girl.
