Amazing. When I looked at your dresden plate pattern quilt pieces, they looked just like the ones my grandmother put together in the 30's. My mother finished the quilt and gave it to me. I will enclose a picture to help you with planning your layout. My mother machine stitched around the quilt piece borders directly to white fabric squares. She added blue sashing and border because my bedroom had blue and pink. She also made the assortment of pillows and wall hanging in the picture. She likes to keep an album of the quilts she has made--which have been many.
