i just finished piecing this for my 92 year old Uncle Bob who just loved fishing upon his retirement. I made it to go with his walker organizer/satchel. The pattern was from Easy Quilts I get from being a member of QCA-called Spice of Life.
I am madly trying to get it hand-quilted so I can give it to him before I leave next month on my overseas trip. The fabric is by Debbie Mumm for Joann's.
I added extra batting under the appliqued patch and pre-machine quilted the design to make it poof out
