In the book, it does not say that it is a window. It refers to the white strips as background accents, the two different blues as the sky and the two different greens as grass. I just followed the pattern. With a few changes in the placement of the pieces it would look more like a window scene. Sorry, that I don't have more info for you.
No problem, thank you very much for trying to help. I'm trying to decide how I'm going to make mine. Thinking about just leaving out the white strips and using the same blue and green throughout. Or I might do that and use the strips because I like how it looks as if the flowers are on a window sill. Haven't decided yet. Thanks again!
