Wow.....Hmmm...little background.

All of the fabric used for this quilt was originally owned by the recipient of this quilt. It's a surprise, she has no idea it's coming or even that her mother sent me a box of her "old things". She's a school chum of mine, known eachother since kindergarten. There are 3 pieces in it that were my contribution. The solid brown, solid gold and a rust/yellow print.

I also have 2 MONSTROUS garbage bags of fabric left over also of hers of Native American prints that didn't make it in. I am colorblind and have a BIG problem seeing colors clearly enough to know what works together and what doesn't. My late mil helped me in picking out which pieces would work best. She lived long enough to see the top done, but not long enough to see it finished. It's a shame. She was really good at that stuff.

I appreciate the comments on the colors though. The layout was all hers. It was a great compilation.
