Thanks for sharing. I remember when I was a teenager my first two machines were a cheap little Brother and then I upgraded to a slightly less cheap Kenmore. Both had the ring setting on top and I quickly learned to change the pressure on the presser feet for better results. That's my biggest issue with the older Bernina I use now...there's no way to change the pressure on the feet....I just bought a used Husqvarna Viking Sapphire 830....and once again I can change settings on it. By the way...that 40+ year old Kenmore still works like a new one!
