Using left over blocks, and scraps from my last two Dachie quilts. I made this one.
Everything was going smooth. Not a single goof! WooHoo
Till I laid it out to measure.
It is 50x50x49.5x51.5. How on earth did I manage that!
The top has "grown" if I fuss with it. I can get it to late flat. I am hand quilting so I should be able to hide it.
I wanted to keep going bigger. Plan was to repeat the inner border, then add another row of blocks all the way around. keep doing blocks then border till I got to a twin.
However now I am thinking I should quit while I’m ahead. The top is already exaggerated. Adding to it, will either make it pucker oddly or be too wavy to stitch.
What do you think, leave it as is call it done and bind it up?
Or undo it, “find” my mistake, and keep going bigger?
