Now that's a really good tip. My tip is to make matching pillowcases for each quilt. They also get washed the same and are alos good for storage for quilts.

I take a small square of each fabric and place it under the label before I sew it to my quilts. That way somewhere down the line if it needs repair the fabrics are under the label and as the quilt is washed the fabric will be washed as well and all will match. This way you don't have to try and find fabric that will match years from now.
