I have a hard time cutting even strips and squares even when I use a ruler. My eyes tend to skip between those tiny lines, and often my strips and squares are somewhere between 1/16 and 1/4th off every single time. I get it all laid out, and they just don't perfectly line up. I get so frustrated. I use a rotary cutter, a cutting mat and a nice Fons and Porter ruler. So I was looking online for some solutions, and I'm interested in this June Tailor Shape Cut Slotted Ruler. Does anyone else use these? Do they help the straight-lined challenged folks like myself, or are they a waste of money?

I know this is late ... but, sometimes I do tilt my rotary cutter when using those slotted rulers. It is what it is. They are good for cutting strips for making fabric bowls ... where it doesn't matter if the strips are cut accurately.

For accuracy I use my alto's Quilt Cut 2.
