The truly sad thing is, I just bought this about 5 months ago from a dear friend for $700. It was well maintained, and I had it serviced as soon as I bought it.

I never thought I could be so attached to a piece of machinery, but I cried when it happened. The question is, should i fix it? Look for another?? Does anyone have an experience with a fried board???
Is this 930 from the early 80's? If so, I don't think there is a board in it....It is a mechanical machine, not a computerized machine. I don't think I would use this repair man without a second opinion...
