Each student had embroidered their name on a block.
That was the second block my Dad had made. The first one he didn't follow directions. He had used his nickname and the lady in charge would not us the block. So he had to make a second block. It also has a block my aunt made she was a year younger then my Dad and one my grandmother had made because they needed a few more blocks to finish the quilt. It has been used well.
He did give me the quilt a year after he had bought it . What a treasure!
That gave me goose bumps.
