I'm doing the Piecmakers 2012 BOM calendar quilt in wool applique. The calendar BOM will be out in March and I'm collecting the wool. I found a batch of wool box pleated skirts at Goodwill, all solid colors, still with tags. They are decades old! I lived in box pleated skirts during Jr high school. And not the thick sweater wool. Perfect applique wool. The first and last wool I bought for applique at a quilt shop was $8 for about a 10" x 10" square.
I'm new at wool applique so any information will help me.
