love working with wool. it is soothing to your hands & mind.
We have a group "Woolies",meets monthly for show & tell, potluck. some beautiful handwork.
I buy almost all my wool at garage sales & thrifts. throw them in hot wash as soon as they enter the house. kill all moth,dirt, etc. then, I rip apart, wash again hot to felt.
we regularly trade colors, etc. large yardages i wash gently & make into quilts for veterans still in their own homes.
we also have pincushion exchange for Christmas. this is where we reserve our best talents for surprise gifts.
would be great to see a interest group here, maybe it would inspire me to start that wildflower wall quilt I want !!
