I'd absolutely love to have that Viking machine. I bought a used Viking in 1961 because the New Home that I loved got broken in shipment. Don't know the model or year of the Viking. I was young and dumb at the time. I believe that machine was the best that I've ever owned for just plain sewing. It sewed forwards, backwards and zig zag but had no fancy stitches. Because it was very heavy and I was pregnant, my husband traded it for an el cheapo in 1965. I've never forgiven him for that, although he thought he was doing it in my best interest.
