Purplemem, you are in luck! Lettuce is super easy togrow...at least in the North with cool Springs. I start mine early in April, if it ge cold or snowed on a few times it will be okay. Start with a container or area of good soil, sprinle the leaf lettuce seeds on top, and put a tiny bit of soil on top of the seeds. The seeds are so tiny, hard to see. Water and keep moist. The leaf lettuce will grow QUICK! Just harvest buy cutting off some of the leaves of the plant. Yes it will regrow. Ours is nice til it gets SUPER hot, then it will bolt and be bitter.
Aw, Jacquie, your garden is BEAUTIFUL! I would love to have a green house someday. Right now just a fenced in a rea to keep the deer out!
