I had the opposite problem - I work full time AFTERNOONS and had to look hard to find a guild that met in the AM. I did, it's a very large guild (400+ members) and is about 45 minutes from me, but we meet every other month. They have very good speakers and a great show every other year, and on non-show years there is Quilt U - all kinds of classes over a 3 day weekend.
