I just discovered why I (and others) can't get the cute shortcuts using the ALT key plus numbers. My laptop computer does not have the number pad on the right side, only vertically. My husband's laptop has the keypad and he got them right away. Does anyone know of a setting that we could 'convert' our computers to accept those fun symbols?
