My car went kaput and I have to replace it--so part of my tax refund will go to that. Fortunately, I have a son who owns a used car dealership and he will look for a bargain for me! He already has my old car sold (with full disclosure of all the problems) to some one who is handy in the mechanics department. I am hoping there will be enough left over for DH and I to go on a cruise. DH has a chronic form of leukemia, and we've decided this is our year for making memories. He is stable right now, which is all the more reason for doing fun things, while he still can.
