When sewing on the binding, I just put the tube on the extra spool pin on my machine and let it feed off of there. That way it doesn't get caught or drop on the floor or whatever.
Love the idea of the TP roll. I use my leftover binding, sew it together and use it for charity quilts - makes them bright and cheerful.
