I posted this in the main section by mistake so I re-posted it in the picture section. There's a better closeup of the flower. The flower was machine done with a decorative stitch that is kind of like a stem stitch.
This quilt design came from an issue of Fons & Porter from a few years ago. It was the same floral fabric, but in pink
