Is the very small border a border or is it a flap sewn between the quilt and the wide border?
Barb, thank you. It is a pieced border, I cut the strip into 1" to ended up with a 1/2" finished border, don't tell anyone, but this was a last minute design decision because I wanted to use my darkest fabric to stop the pattern before adding borders and that is the biggest border I had enough fabric for,lol. But I do like how it turned out. Thanks for taking the time to show us this wonderful technique and pattern.
