Another way to sew on the cheap is to frequent estate sales for lots of fabric, thread & notions. Also check Craigslist in your area to find out who is thinning or destashing their stash. I have found that families are selling the stashes for little or nothing because the family sewer is no longer able to sew. Great finds.
