I started sewing when I was 8 (I'm 52), was in 4-H when my mom was the advisor, worked for a short while at an alterations shop, sew, sew, sewed. Garments with a quilt here and there in the beginning, now quilting, with a few garments thrown in
Not to mention the curtains, slipcovers, various other 'decorating' items
