Hey, and welcome from South Louisiana. Brrrrr, and a "warm" welcome it is today. We had 38 degrees this morning, waiting for colder tomorrow morning (perhaps in the twenties.).. That is sooooo cold for us.
I had a co-worker (teacher) from South Dakota. She lived and worked here many years. She loved our weather. Now she's back in Wall, SD. I wish I could have given her the quilting bug while she was here. I hear from her two or three times a year. Just talking about the snow makes me cold.
We had a little taste of it in December (all 3 hours of it!). It was the first time since 1988. People were out scraping snow off the grass to build a snowman before it melted.
You will love this group people on the board. The nicest people you would ever want to know. So helpful and kind. I have learned so much from them.
