Thanks for all the nice comments. The original pattern came from a swap I was in; McCalls Quilt Magazine had a version of it one year and that is where the idea for the fence posts border came from (cat has to have a fence to sit on so it can sing LOL); and last year there was a free pattern on the internet for the same cat block. There is just a tiny bit of difference in the cat sizes . I can't remember the website, but if anyone is interested in the pattern, I'll try to find my notes and list the site.
