I used to live in Kansas. On a windy summery day I used to hang everything in my laundry baskets on a forty ft line.
When I got to the end of it, the clothes would be dry at the beginning end.
So I would take them down, and hang up the rest! It was the dry air that sucked the moisture out of the clothes that fast!
...and they smelled good too, if I left them out longer.
