I cannot take credit for the embroidery work---a friend of DGD's grandfather does it for professional makers of Irish dance dresses. The piece I used for the bag was a test he did before he did the actual bodice of the dress. He said I could use it in a quilt, maybe but I decided she should have the bag to match her dress. The design for the embroidery was done by a 16 yr od neighbor boy. I am making her dress as well but cannot finish until I visit her to fit it. :)
