Quilter's Home January 2010 edition had a pattern for a quilted Kindle Cozy that I modified for my Nook. The corners of your Nook (or Kindle) slides under narrow corner holders on the right side of the cover. On the left side of the cover I made a top to bottom pocket to hold a thin piece of plexiglass that my husband cut to fit and that protects the front of the Nook from damage.. This cover opens and closes like a book cover, and the front part of the cover folds back against the back of the Nook and makes it easy to hold. It is designed to allow you to turn your Nook on or recharge your Nook's battery without taking it out of the cover. It fastens close with a button closure. The nice thing about it is that whenever you get hot and sweaty the cover absorbs the moisture. When it gets grubby, it is easily machine washed and hung to dry. If you want to pm me, I can give you dimensions and how-to's, and if I get my camera out, I can take pictures of some of the covers that I have made. Have 4-5 in various stages of assembly. Just learning to machine quilt on a dsm, and learning on these covers has been great practice. Jan
