some of the michael miller fabrics have some glittery detail, i have used many of them michael miller is one of my favorite designers. after time (my youngest graddaughter's princess quilt is 5 or 6 years old now) the glitter does wash away, but her quilt is still very pretty and still has some 'bling' to it. i would not worry about it. the fabric is beautiful with or without the bling.
