Ooh! I want to take you along when I shop - great find! My first machine was a White that was excellent for all the 20 years I had it. I sold it after I inherited my mom's Elna, which I still have. When I offered the 1966 White at a garage sale (too cheap), it was snapped up immediately by a guy who told me he owned a tailor shop. He'd asked to plug it in and try it, and I'd noticed a smile spread across his face as he listened to that baby hum. At least it went to a loving home.
