I also took the card stock off to show all metal hang strip then you will have two hangers. I cut a strip of sewable bond the kind that is more like fabric than paper and ironed it on the metal strip this will not fall off like acid free paper and I would think it is acid free as it is sometime used as a fabric stiffener that you leave in when you sew. I also think you can use a fabric strip and spry tack it on.

also leaving on the small part of card stock on the top will let you leave some with nothing on them and keep the tabs in to mark what the fabric is for, you have 5 1/2 half yards together and one empty with the tab saying what you plan to use the 5 previous hanger filled bars. I guess you could even use a plastic file folder between projects with the pattern it it.

Hope this makes some sense to you all. I will try to post some pictures later of what I am talking about.
I'm lovin' all the extra ideas!
