Comic Book Boards or Extenders are thin boards placed into comic books before they are placed into plastic bags that a seller would display them in for sale.

Keep in mind these are far too flimsy (only 10 Mil) to fold fabric onto, but they will cover the green cardboard of file hangers so the fabric can be safely draped over the metal bars and would be a great application here. You could cut the green folder from the fold to about 5" even and fold the comic board over the top...
maybe add a bit of spray adhesive or glue stick to affix them to the remaining green cardboard.
Just remember to tape them to fit lengthwise, but keep the tape on the underside to protect fabric from even the tape.
