I have started a lap quilt for an uncle who is in a nursing/rehab home.....since he is a long time farmer...I am using John Deere fabric...I used a different shade of green for the center... and setting up the blocks so that is formed a snowball effect...but after spending an hour ripping out bocks to make sure the centers were all in the right position...I have decided this is too complicated and reverting back to the origional block which is a 3 dementional bowtie..and going to leave out the center green and use one of the 2 for the center instead...the pattern in this block....is one that a person needs to be careful with...it made a simple block more complicated...lesson learned!!!!
