Daisey, when you get the blocks up on the wall (pinned in halves) you'll see how they nest like Julie said, otherwise I'll make another video! I could turn into a real prima donna! But this time, I'm putting make up on! I TOLD him not to film my face.

Julie, you could if you wanted to use a toning fabric for the corners - you'd get a more 'separate block' effect rather than the all over OBW but it might be nice. Did you see Karen K's pink and b & w one? It gave an effect of cathedral windows - she set every alternate block with 4 OBW segments and 4 toning segments - hang on, I'll look for the link... here it is - the pink one at the bottom http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-94938-1.htm
I LOVE that pink quilt! My big thing here is that it is a cross between OBW/Kaleidoscope/Stack N whack....I am making this for my sister and the kaleidoscope top that I have been working on is for her daughter, my neice. I don't wnat to give them both quilts that are SO similar in pattern :). I didn't stack or fussy cut the kaleidoscope and it has 3 colors, but the effects are similar to the pink quilt.

I'm really debating getting another 3-4 yards and doing another stack of repeats. I'm going to offset them differently this time for more variety in my blocks. But instead of two 6" strips I'll only do one and that will give me 16 more blocks and the other strip can be used for the squares. I have around a yard left now and allthe leftovers will make nice fillers in the rest of the top or back.

This is for my baby sister and she's been sick a LOT in the last few years so I want it to be pretty special  And I DO appreciate all the help.
