What happened to the baking power? I always use baking powder..same recipe though:
1 stick butter, 1/4 cup
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
4 to 5 cups fruit

You are right, I also use baking powder and I put in pumpkin pie spice blend..I like it spicy!
