I'll stick with my original thought of "paperless" meaning "no paper to rip off" - whatever her method might be.
You know, it could be the Sew-Easy(?) stuff. I used it for my first PP block ages ago. It's like an interfacing, so it STAYS in the block, no need to remove it. And it goes through the printer. I actually liked the method, except it was pretty pricey having to buy the stuff - 5 sheets for $6+ dollars.
