we are fotunate enough on the western slope of Colorado to have a glacier and lakes that are fed by spring waters and the winter snows . City water to a point but fed by springs around here and the glaciers, snow melt into lakes that are holding ponds for our water .. its okay, we filter it just to be on the safe side !
