We have all heard about QOV or quilts of valor, there are also numerous other groups making quilts for troops wounded in the war.

But do you remember the Homefront quilt project started by a teenage girl? You can read her updated story here:

My family and I spent the summer of 2003 making quilts for the families of fallen soldiers.
here is just a few of the 35 quilts we finished in 10 weeks!

My children also made lap quilts for veterans in wheel chairs the following summer.
