Heres one corner of the scuba quilt. It is comming along nicely, the shark goes on today and hopefully DH can get the scub diver drawn this weekend. Meantime I can go to the machine and stitch the pieces on. What stitch would you use to attach? Buttonhole, satin stitch or just a zigzag. I wanted to try a little thread painting with this project too. Hope I don't mess it up!
I used the free applique tropical fish pattern from
http://fatcatpatterns.com/Aquatic%20Designs.html and we did the grasses and corals freehand. Wait until you see the shark, hes's just spectacular and will be lurking behind the grasses and coral reef above.
