Yes, you have said this well. I would add a note--think about making a "utility" quilt--do it in large blocks, easy pattern--perhaps just colorful squares sewn in rows and put a fleece backing on--stitch in the ditch about 3 lengthwise rows, fold fleece to front to make bindings--whole thing could be none in 3 of 4 hours. Just a thought
