When we moved into our 1924 Victorian, I thought I wanted my studio to be an upstairs bedroom which was 12x15. That is until it got too hot from the summer heat. We moved in January of 2010, and by July, I had had enough and was relocating it to the dining room downstairs. It was a little bigger at 15x15. We didn't have a dining room suite yet, so why not? Now, it seems I'm outgrowing that room and have decided that I want to use the master bedroom which is a spacious 13x25. We weren't using it except for closet space because it needs work on the floor. But if I fall through, I fall through! lol I'm willing to risk it to have more room for sewing. Thought you might enjoy the pics - I've only just begun painting on the new shop, yellow on the ceiling (yes, ceiling) and it will have a paler yellow on the walls with hopefully some stencil work here and there. I'll let you know how it turns out.
