I, too, had a large shop when I was married to my first husband. It was 19x28. I miss that shop..... But, I'm not deterred by small spaces. It's a long story, but in 2008/2009, my son and I lived in a little adobe out in Colorado that only had 300 sq ft for about 6 months. When we moved it was to a spacious 600 sq ft apartment. These are the total sq feet for each place! And I was quilting at both places, and buying fabric. I had to store boxes of fabric I found at a church rummage sale in my car. (5 big 2ft sq boxes - tremendous deal - fabric was 25cents a PIECE, regardless of size and some were up to 10 yds) My storage was already full and so was my car and the little adobe. lol That's when I started looking for a BIG house to move to when we came back to Tennessee. And my co-workers thought I was crazy for wanting so much room....
