I don't like the looks of the rail fence. I went ahead and cut most of my fabric for what I can remember. I know what it looks like because a couple years ago I made 2 of them. I'll send a picture when I get the top done. I just cut 2x6" pieces. Three per block. First 3 go across and next 3 go to the right. Second row start with the 3 across and just switch them every other block and row. The only thing I didn't know was if the strips were 2x5 or 2x6. and I wasn't sure about the 2 inch either but this will work.
