Its well worth the trouble as it will be beautiful when it is completed.
One tip I can share with you, our guild leader does alot of paperpiecing, and she always cuts all her pieces, and works on each block at the same time, adding each piece to each block, so you get into a rhythm, and she swears it goes much faster as you are repeating the same section each time it becomes easier to remember how to do it...does that make any sense lol!!
