I have a few shirts that belonged to my late father. I want to make a couple of quilts around 1 shirt for each of my two brothers and myself.
I want the fabric from the shirt to be left in large blocks or shapes and basicly the focal point of the quilt. Any suggestions?
So far my only thought is to make a 12 inch block and find some complimeteray fabrick for smaller blocks around it and maybe a star sashing to give it some flare. I am thinking a large throw and maybe smaller version for a nap pillow.
If I were to use warm and natural how far apart Could the quilt be
