You'll never be able to please everyone, and I don't think we should try to cater to everyone's sensabilities. I absolutely believe that it belongs in the show as a piece of textile art. The last time I went to a quilt show, a person staffing a guild booth and one of her patrons felt that I was being pornographic by breastfeeding my son in public. On the same day, dozens of people came up to me while I was feeding my son to tell me how wonderful breastfeeding is and how much they missed it. Everyone has different opinions on such things, and I would rather have the quilt out in the world to spark discussion than hidden away out of fear of offending some.
