Loved reading all the comments! I've been reading all of Jennifer Chiavarini's Elm Creek Quilts books and am going to see her lecture at a quilt shop near me in two weeks. I did that last year after reading River of Doubt - book about Teddy Roosevelt. So cool to meet the authors; they work very hard at research when it's a non-fiction book.

On a lighter note, I've read most of Janet Evanovich's - so funny! And then there's times to be more serious - The Shack, and Jodi Piccoult's - she tackles some very heavy topics! Wish there were more time in the day to read and sew; skip the housework and other boring tasks required of life!
Thanks for some recommendations I'm putting on the to-read list!
